Some news from the writing front!

Somehow, I found time this week to look at Perilous chapters 42-44! I did say that the priority was finishing writing the first draft of the book, and yet...

I always enjoy reading my friends' comments and reactions. It reminds me that I'm writing for an audience that actually enjoys my shit! Rachel, Lois, and Madi have been essential to Perilous, and the book wouldn't be nearly as advanced as it is now without their care in helping shape this soapy, campy queer romantic adventure.

I'm editing instead of writing the last two chapters of the book because endings terrify me! My therapist would probs say it's self-sabotage, but I SWEAR I will write it.

I think I know that the moment I write the last word of the epilogue, I have to go back for a new draft. The story has grown so much that I have a lot of edits I want to go through before the final version is published in... March 2026?(Earlier, if I develop a cocaine addiction.)

I have two goals this month: survive and finish writing Perilous.
