Hello, alien lovers!

Things are happening... slowly! Everything is a process, and everything takes longer when you're a one-woman show (ish).*

*(ish—because I'm not doing this alone. My husband is collaborating with me on a graphic novel, and friends give me feedback to improve my pieces.)

I like being my own free, creative agent. I also enjoy working collaboratively and creatively with others. One of my longer-term professional goals is to create really cool shit with my friends. What's the point of building a platform if you're only going to use it for yourself?

Lately, life has been nice. It's busy, and most days I feel like the human incarnation of my favourite gif. However, a new feeling is underlying my hectic schedule, one that is calm and sustainable. Like I'm on the right track, somehow.

It took me a while, but I'm exactly where I want to be. Vancouver is beautiful in Autumn. My people are showing up and moving towards their goals. I've finally learned a few things from my messy and chaotic twenties. Building Ailleurs feels like the perfect fit at the perfect time.
